About Dr. Rajesh Darji
Biography
Dr. Rajesh Darji is currently the Associate Professor of Mathematics at Sarvajanik College of Engineering and Technology (SCET), Surat affiliated to Gujarat technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. He served as Lecturer at L. D. College of Engineering, Ahmedabad from December, 1995 to June, 1997. He is a Chief Editor of International Journal of Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics (IJAAMM). He is also serving as an Editorial Board Member and Reviewer/Referee of many reputed National and International academic journals. He holds the professional membership of Indian Society for Technical Education, Indian Mathematical Society, and American Mathematical Society. He is also a fellow of different Universities like Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat, The M. S. University of Baroda, Vadodara and North Gujarat University, Patan. He has devoted himself to promoting Mathematics in technical education. He has authored 17 research articles on Pure and Applied Mathematics, and one book on Engineering Mathematics. He has published 02 research papers in the international conferences too. He has attended 12 various training programs organized by IITs, NITs, AICTE, ISTE, MHRD etc. He has also designed many Study Modules for all Engineering Mathematics since inception. He obtained a Ph.D degree in 2012 for the innovative and pioneering work on Deductive Group Theoretic Techniques for Solving Non-Linear Partial Differential Equations (when the subject was at its infancy) in a record time of 24 months (from VNSGU, Surat). Dr. Darji is known for his unique achievement like “Tetra Gold Medalist in Mathematics”. He has always been keen on including ethics and a value based approach to education and has been inculcating these into the next generation by leading an exemplary life (practices what he preaches).
